Oil Spill Clean Ups

Snow White Services has the skills and resources to recover the beautiful beaches, waters, and properties that have been marred by oil spills or similar industrial disasters. Read on to learn more about our methods and how we can help, including information on the recent spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Most of our equipment is mobile to a certain degree and can be operated automatically. We can pump almost any flowing material as well as material containing up to 80% solid matter with our vacuum systems. Our equipment pumps at rates from 10 /hr to 60 /hr. To put this in perspective, our high volume system could remove all the water (oily or not) from an Olympic sized swimming pool in less than two days.

In addition, we can deposit the vacuumed material in hazardous waste containers up to two miles away from the waste site. Our equipment is industrial grade, built to handle the toughest and most toxic messes that might occur. It is also intrinsically safe, and cuts down on wasted time and manpower. Don’t settle for less – get the job done, and do it right.

Oil Spill Slurry Pump Features
100% compressed air operation
Intrinsically safe
Fully portable
Can achive a high 26" vaccum
Can move 13 cubic yards to 75 cubic yards of material per hour
Specialized vacuum pumps come in 3", 4" and 6" inlet and discharge
Specialized vacuum pumps can draw a vacuum up to 800' and discharge up to two miles.

Benefits of Dry Ice Blasting
Environmentally Friendly

Carbon Dioxide is the 4th most abundant gas found naturally in the atmosphere, it’s everywhere! Dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) is a fantastic solution when your only other alternative could be toxic cleaning chemicals. Because it is created from reclaimed carbon dioxide, it doesn’t add anything to the atmosphere and so doesn’t contribute to the greenhouse effect.

Not Electrically Conductive

Dry ice does not conduct electricity and can be used to clean machines and electrical systems while they are still running.
